Method and assumptions
Attendance = attended ÷ held × 100. Required consecutive classes n satisfy (attended + n) ÷ (held + n) ≥ target. Safe absences satisfy attended ÷ (held + absences) ≥ target. Only whole classes are counted. A 100% target cannot be reached with a finite number of new classes after an absence.
Worked example
60 attended out of 80 held is 75%. At a 75% target, no additional absence is safe yet.
