Method and assumptions
Enter one assessment per line. Weights may be percentages or relative weights; they are normalized by their total. Result = Σ(earned ÷ maximum × weight) ÷ Σweights × 100. Edit the grade boundaries to match your institution. Example: 90% at weight 20 and 80% at weight 80 gives 82%.
Worked example
Homework at 90% with weight 20 and an exam at 80% with weight 80 give (90×20 + 80×80)/100 = 82%.
